South Carolina Coach McGee Moody sat down with David Rieder of Swimming World discusses team’s two new All-American Tom Peribonio and Nils Wich-Glasen. Peribonio managed to sneak into the consolation finals of the 400 IM, while Wich-Glasen had his best ever finish in the 100 breast, nabbing the seventh place. Moody discusses his team’s phenomenal performance so far, noting that there has yet to be an event that has not broken a team record. He also talks about the hiring of Mark Bernardino which he feels has significantly impacted their strong distance program. Heading into the final day, Moody looks forward to a tight battle between 15th-19th, hoping to sneak into the top 15.
