USA Swimming SCY Top 10 Rankings Through 11/25

USA Swimming has released an updated top ten list for open and 18-and-under swimmers for the 2015-2016 short course yards season. The rankings include all times through November 25. The lists include the national top ten and the top ten in each of the four USA Swimming Zones.

NCAA athletes highlight nearly every top-ranked open swimmer. Florida’s Caeleb Dressel leads the nation in the 50-yard free after his blazing 18.77 last weekend at Ohio State. In the 100-yard free, Missouri’s Michael Chadwick is tops in the country with his 41.89. Other top men include Evan Pinion (Tennessee), Nolan Tesone (Louisville), and Luke Kaliszak (Alabama).

On the women’s side of the open rankings, Florida’s Natalie Hinds leads the way in the 100 and 200-yard free, clocking an impressive 47.75 and 1:43.96 in the events. Other top name’s include Stanford’s Janet Hu and Ella Eastin, and Nation’s Capital’s Katie Ledecky.

Amongst 18-and-under boys, Michael Andrew leads a number of events including the 50-yard free, 100-yard free, 100-yard breast, 100-yard fly, and the 200-yard IM. Other leaders include Alex Liang, Texas’s Towley Haas, and Stanford’s Matt Anderson.

Abby Weitzell holds the top spots in the 50 and 100-yard free for the 18-and-under girls. Eastin, Indiana’s Lilly King, and Texas’s Kaitlin Harty are among others that rank first in the 18-and-under category.
