USA Artistic Swimming Foundation Grant Applications Open For 2020 – 21

The USA Artistic Swimming Foundation is ready to start a new grant cycle to support your projects and programs designed to grow the sport!  Interested parties have until July 15, 2020 to go online, fill out the form, and tell the Foundation why their grant proposal is a real need and a great idea for growing the sport.

Applications for grants can be filled out at this link and must be filled out by July 15.

You can begin your application, save it, come back to it later, finish it, upload any supporting materials and preview before you hit “submit”.

The USA Artistic Swimming Foundation created a detailed FAQ page to help you navigate the process and answer basic questions. Go to our Online Grant Application Frequently Asked Questions. A couple of tips:

TIP 1: Start today. Don’t wait until July 15 to start the process. You have the ability to save and return. Which brings us to ..

TIP 2: Save, save and save again. Save your application & save the URL link the application give you! That URL is yours and links to your application so you can make changes, edits and additions.

TIP 3: PREVIEW your submission then SUBMIT it.

TIP 4: You will know that your application was received because you will get an email confirmation. If you do not get an email confirmation, reach out to Karen Rosolowski at president@synchrofoundation.org.

Here are examples of past grants to the USA Artistic Swimming Foundation:

  • Austin Angelfish held a “Try Synchro” clinic; 16 athletes signed up for their beginner class, and now they have 9 new members on their competitive team.
  • Tualatin Hills Synchro held an “Olympic Wave” program to introduce the sport to new swimmers–They grew their team from 6 to 20 swimmers.
  • ANA Synchro held “The Merman of Synchro” clinic, and now have a new male team member.
  • South Zone piloted an on-line judges training. This became the model for the national on-line judges training that was just launched.
