TYR Pro Swim Series Richmond Pre-Scratch Psych Sheet Highlighted By Lochte, Curzan, Twichell

The pre-scratch psych sheets for the 2021 TYR Pro Swim Series in Richmond and although the meet is not as stacked as the San Antonio site, it is still littered with a number of swimmers that have competed in the Olympic Games. The biggest name is current 200 IM world record holder Ryan Lochte as well as rising star Claire Curzan.

2021 Olympic qualifier Ashley Twichell is opening up her 2021 campaign as the top seed in the 400, 800 and 1500 free. Twichell has already qualified for Tokyo in the 10K open water race. Olympic hopefuls Emily EscobedoCatie DeLoofErin Gemmell and Justin Ress, as well as 2016 Olympian Jack Conger are also going to be in attendance in Virginia. The meet will be held January 14 – 17 at SwimRVA.

The TYR Pro Swim Series prelims sessions will be split into men’s and women’s sessions, with the women going at 9 a.m. and the men going at 12 p.m. Finals will all be in one session and will begin at 7 p.m. with only two heats swimming at night.
