Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with
Swimming Australia.

As the National Peak Industry Body for Swim School’s, ASSA aims to support and enhance the learn to swim and water safety industry, through its network of more than 400 Member Swim Schools.

The new partnership will establish strategies to connect the services, capabilities and networks of
both organizations, integrating the full swimming pathway in the process.

Swimming Australia CEO, Eugénie Buckley, believes the collaboration between both organizations
will further strengthen the sport at all levels.

“We are a swimming nation with 1 in 5 Australians engaging in some form of swimming activity
around the country, and that journey all starts in our swim schools,”
Buckley said.

Working with ASSA will enable us both to continue to foster that positive relationship with our
sport, from your very first swimming lesson, to grassroots community swimming and through to the
elite level.

As one of the most influential swimming communities around the world, this new partnership will
also leverage the strength of both organizations to continue to provide advocacy for the aquatics
industry, both domestically and internationally.

As part of our broader strategy we are striving for continuous improvement across our sport and
the aquatics industry, and it is partnerships of this nature that will lead this change.

ASSA General Manager, Emily McNeill, said the organization was delighted to be fostering an end-to-
end pathway for swimming and water safety in Australia, which is the first of its kind for the industry

“This partnership with Swimming Australia allows us to strengthen the advocacy for the life-long
health, safety, fun and fitness benefits of swimming, while also enhancing the professional
development pathways and opportunities for our members,” McNeill said.

“We look forward to working with Swimming Australia to make swimming accessible to all
Australians, whilst working collaboratively to build a Nation of SAFER swimmers.”

This organization is nothing but a sham. Started by a fraudster, and now being embraced by a CEO who needs to moved on before swimming in Australia hits an all time low. Swimming Australia’s former biggest supporter & Australians richest woman, Gina Rinehart refuses to deal with Eugenie Buckley & had now pulled all of her funding. Get ready for the sport to go down the drain under her leadership…..
