The 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships continued with the 3-meter diving competition.

North Carolina’s Aranza Vazquez Montano went 2-for-2. After winning the 1-meter board on Thursday, she claimed the 3-meter title on Friday in Knoxville.

Vazquez Montano won the event with a score of 385.80.

“I really had to calm myself and remind myself that it was a new day and and a new competition,” she said. “I knew that could do it again, but it was a new day. On 3-meter, it is all about strength. If I am stronger I could hit more dives. It means the world. It reminds me that nothing is impossible.”

Indiana’s Anne Fowler finished second with 369.90, followed by South Carolina senior Brooke Schultz (364.25), Arizona senior Delaney Schnell (362.30) and Miami senior Mia Vallee (355.65).
