Missouri State Champion Anna Moehn Commits to University of Pennsylvania

Anna Moehn of Alton, Illinois has announced her verbal commitment to swim at the University of Pennsylvania.

Moehn swims for the CSP Tideriders, based out of St. Louis, Missouri. She most recently competed at the Region VIII Spring Sectionals in Jenks, Oklahoma, where she grabbed first in the 400 freestyle, third in the 400 individual medley, third in the 200 freestyle and third in the 200 butterfly. CSP won the meet with 983 points. Moehn also competed at the 18 & Under Winter Championships last year, where she placed second in the 200 freestyle, fourth in the 200 IM, fourth in the 200 fly, fifth in the 400 IM and sixth in the 100 freestyle.

Moehn also won two state titles in the 200 and 500 freestyles back in February when she competed at the MSHSAA Class 1 State Championships. She also swam on the 200 and 400 free relays that took the gold. Her high school team, Cor Jesu Academy, also took the state title this year for the first time in school history.
