JERUSALEM – Ten Israeli men, along with two women, have punched their tickets to this summer’s FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia.

The men’s squad will be highlighted by Olympic 200 back finalist Yaakov Tomarkin and two-time Olympian Gal Nevo, while Amit Ivry and Zohar Shiklar will represent Israel on the women’s side. Tom Kremer, a junior at Stanford, will attempt to qualify for the team next week at the Arena Pro Swim Series at Charlotte.

Tomarkin (100 back, 200 back and 200 IM), Nevo (200 IM), Ivry (100 breast) and Andrea Moraz (50 free) have also qualified for Israel’s 2016 Olympic team, which will be led by head coach Leonid Kaufman.
