The final weekend for the International Swimming League (ISL) semifinals begins on Thursday as two matches will whittle eight teams down to four for the final match.

Playoff Match 5 begins Thursday with the DC Trident, Energy Standard, LA Current and London Roar. The match will begin at 1 p.m. ET and 19:00 CET both Thursday and Friday from Eindhoven, Netherlands.

ISL Playoff Match 6 begins Saturday with the Aqua Centurions facing the Cali Condors, Team Iron and Toronto Titans. The match will begin at 1 p.m. ET and 19:00 CET both Saturday and Sunday.

The first four playoff matches saw four different teams win. The Cali Condors won the first match, followed by victories from the LA Current, Energy Standard and the London Roar. These are not surprisingly the top four teams in the league and the likely finalists. But with one weekend to go, all four teams will look to cement their spots in the ISL finals, which begin Dec. 3.

Caeleb Dressel and Hali Flickinger returned in the fourth ISL playoff match, but it was not enough for the team victory for the Cali Condors as the London Roar completed an impressive surge to win the match. Flickinger was making her season debut. Meanwhile, London’s Duncan Scott, Minna Atherton, Emma McKeon and Kyle Chalmers put together stellar races to lead the Roar.

Those two teams will not face off again until the final.

Meanwhile, the LA Current will look to build on strong performances from Ryan Murphy, who won the MVP in his team’s first playoff match, and Abbey Weitzeil. Energy Standard is led by Sarah Sjostrom and Siobhan Haughey.

Those four teams have a ton of power and should make for an extremely interesting final.

Meanwhile, the DC Trident, Aqua Centurions, Team Iron and Toronto Titans have their seasons on the line this week.
