Florida Gators Chomp Into Class of 2026 Recruiting With In-State Verbals from Bella Lojewski, Anna Moore

NEW COMMITS: The University of Florida has kept a pair of in-state standouts in the Sunshine State after receiving a pair of verbal commitments for their Class of 2026 from Winter Garden’s Bella Lojewski and Anna Moore of Saint Johns.

Both talented swimmers will arrive in Gainesville at the start of the 2022-23 season.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I’m excited to announce my commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Florida! Thank you to all my coaches, family, friends for all the love & support. I cannot wait to be a part of the Gator family!! #gogators”

Lojewski swims year-round with Laker Swimming and finaled in two events at the Florida OT Qualifier in February. Last summer, she earned a best time at Greensboro Futures, placed fourth in the 800m free at Florida LCM Seniors, and races four events at Gainesville Sectionals.

Her best times include:

  • 100 free – 52.06
  • 200 free – 1:53.78
  • 500 free – 5:01.83
  • 100 fly – 58.28
  • 200 fly – 2:04.64

Also competing for Winderemere High School, Lojewski has competed at the Florida State Championships the last two years. She raced the 100 free during her sophomore season at the 4a meet and raced to 10th in the 500 free at the 3A meet during her rookie campaign.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I’m extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my swimming and academic career at the University of Florida! I’m so grateful for my family, coaches, and teammates for helping me get where I am today. Go gators!!??”

Moore does her club swimming with the legendary Bolles School Sharks and placed 23rd in the 200 breast at Juniors East in December where she achieved two best times. Last summer, she placed fourth in the 200m breast and sixth in the 100m breast at Gainesville Sectionals before going on to compete at Junior Nationals.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 23.87
  • 100 free – 51.35
  • 100 breast – 1:03.24
  • 200 breast – 2:15.59
  • 200 IM – 2:06.03
  • 400 IM – 4:25.61

A current junior at Creekside High School, Moore already a four-time Florida State Championship finalist. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American finished fifth in the 100 breast and eighth in the 100 free as a sophomore at the 4a meet while taking fifth in the 100 breast and sixth in the 100 fly as a freshman at the 3A meet.
