NEW COMMIT: Saint Louis Park, Minn. native Taylor Williams has verbally committed to the University of Missouri and will arrive in Columbia as a member of the Tigers’ class of 2025.

Primarily a sprint freestyler, Williams swims year-round with Aquajets Swim Team and owns three Juniors National standards. She most recently raced three events at Juniors West in December and registered three top-8 finishes at the Minnesota LCM Championships this past summer.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I am super excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim and study at the University of Missouri!! I truly could not have made it to where I am without the support of my family, friends, and coaches. I am so happy to join the amazing family at Mizzou! GO TIGERS!!”

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 23.66
  • 100 free – 50.44
  • 200 free – 1:48.58

A current junior at Benilde-Saint Margaret’s High School, Williams is already a six-time Minnesota Class A State Championship finalist. The two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American earned gold in the 200 free and silver in the 100 free as a freshman and as a junior while winning both of those races during her sophomore season.
