Diver Bennett Greene Verbally Commits to Tennessee; First Public Verbal For 2024

NEW COMMIT: The first public verbal commitment for the fall of 2024 is in and belongs to the Vols: Diver Bennett Greene of Knoxville has verbaled to his local University of Tennessee as a member of the Class of 2028.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I’m super excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Tennessee! I can’t wait to continue my academic and athletic career as a Vol Thanks, to all the amazing family and friends that have been there for me along the way!”

No stranger to the Vols’ program, Greene trains with Tennessee Aquatics Diving Team. He most recently competed at USA Diving Junior Nationals, finishing ninth on both 3-meter (536.80) platform (484.10) for the 16-18 age group. He also took 14th on 1-meter.

At winter nationals last year, he finished 28th in prelims on 3-meter with a score of 300.15. He also competed at U.S. Olympic Diving Trials last summer, taking 33rd on 3-meter with a mark of 238.40.

Greene won the 1-meter (575.15) at the KISL City Championships back in January, besting the field by over 135 points.
