NEW COMMIT: The University of California, Davis has landed its first verbal commitment for the fall of 2023 from Junior National qualifier Paige Dailey of Aurora, Colorado.

She told Swimming World:

“I am so grateful and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at UC Davis!!!  I’d like to thank my teammates, friends, coaches, and family for all the love and support!  I cannot wait to join a team full of such amazing women and an amazing coaching staff! GO AGGIES”

A talented breaststroker, Dailey does her club swimming with Aquawolves Club Swim Team and earned four best times at Austin Sectionals in March where she finished 17th in both the 100 and 200 breast. She also had a strong showing at Western Zone Seniors last summer.

Her best times include:

  • 100 breast – 1:02.83
  • 200 breast – 2:16.35

Currently a junior at Grandview High School, Dailey placed seventh in the 100 breast at the Colorado 5A State Championships this past season. As a sophomore, she finished 18th in that event.

Dailey plans on studying mechanical engineering while competing for the Aggies.
