NEW COMMIT: Futures qualifier Lily Kaiser of Fort Wayne, Ind. has pledged her verbal commitment to Bowling Green State University and will suit up for the Falcons in the fall of 2021.

She told Swimming World:

“I am beyond excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Bowling Green State University!  I’m very thankful for all of my friends, family, coaches and teammates who have helped me achieve this next chapter.  Go Falcons!”

A talented backstroker and IMer, Kaiser does her club swimming with Summit City Aquatics  for head coach Justin Max. She recorded four best times at the Cardinal Christmas Classic in December and finaled in the 200 back at Indy Sectionals in March 2019. Last long course season, she had a strong showing at Indiana LCM Seniors before going on to place 15th in the 200m back at Greensboro Futures.

Her best times include:

  • 200 Back – 2:03.04
  • 100 Back – 58.62
  • 400 IM – 4:25.82
  • 200 IM – 2:05.23
  • 100 Free – 52.61

Also competing for Homestead High School, Kaiser is a three-time Indiana State Championship finalist. She placed 13th in the 200 IM as a junior while taking 15th in both the 200 IM and 500 free during her sophomore season. She also grabbed gold in the 500 free and silver in the 200 IM at the IHSAA Sectional meet in 2020.

Kaiser will make an immediate impact when she arrives on campus as a member of the Class of 2025. She would’ve scored in the B-final of the 400 IM and is just shy of scoring range in her other top events at the 2020 MAC Championships where the Falcons finished fifth overall in the team standings.
