Pedersen had been at the helm of Southeastern since 1993, where he produced national level swimmers Matt McDonald, who swam for Skip Kenney at Stanford, and Lindsay Rogers, who went on to Louisville.

At the high school level, Pedersen’s Hamilton Southeastern girls teams finished runner-up to Carmel five times, with the last coming in 2016. Pedersen’s 2007 Hamilton Southeastern team was only 54.5 points behind Carmel for second place at the state championships, which is the closest any team has gotten to ending Carmel’s streak in the last 15 years.

Pedersen also won the 2007 Indiana Boys High School State title and finished runner-up in 2008. He recently coached Keegan Streett to a state title in the 200 freestyle this year as well as daughter Molly, who made the final in the 100 free at Indiana high school state this year, and will be at Penn State next season.

Andy Pedersen was named as a 2011 Inductee into the Indiana Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame and was honored in 2005 and 2016 as the National High School Coach of the Year. He is also the head coach of the team’s feeder program, Southeastern Swim Club. Coach Pedersen is a graduate of Indiana University and Bedford North-Lawrence High School.

Pedersen resides in Indianapolis and will lead the commercial sales team efforts in the Midwest and Northeast markets. He will take over the responsibilities previously help by Larry Mazzenga who recently retired.
