Interview: Late Call-Up Michael Weiss Excited to Be Part of Duel in the Pool

GLASGOW, Scotland, December 19. WHEN an unruly fan decided to take a running leap into Olympic star Ryan Lochte’s arms, Team USA’s Duel in the Pool roster took a hit when Lochte suffered a knee injury.

One of the men called upon to replace Lochte proved to be Michael Weiss, who will use his IM ability to help fill the void on the Stars and Stripes. Weiss spoke with Swimming World’s Pamela Roberts just a day before the opening to the two-day Duel in the Pool extravaganza.
