Olympic Champion Ous Mellouli Planning to Refocus on Pool Swimming This Season

TIBURON, California, October 3. TWO-time Olympic champion Ous Mellouli talks with SwimmingWorld.TV about his strategy and tactics for the RCP Tiburon Mile, as well as his Trojan training partner Mateusz Sawrymowicz winning the big $10,000 check in his first open water event.

Mellouli also talks about competing in the Doha and Dubai FINA World Cups later this season as he refocuses on pool swimming this season. Last year, Mellouli had a much stronger open water schedule, and is looking to change up his training for a bit.

Mellouli, who won an Olympic gold medal in the 1500 free at the 2008 Beijing Games, will take a run at returning to the top of the distance freestyle mountain.
