Yannick Agnel Bypassing French, European Championships For Duel in the Pool

BALTIMORE, Maryland, September 21. THE French media is fired up today after Yannick Agnel made it known that he will bypass the French and European Short Course Championships this year to swim in the Duel in the Pool.

Agnel, a two-time Olympic gold medalist from the 2012 London Games who is now swimming for Bob Bowman at the North Baltimore Aquatic Club, will begin his season by competing in the Minneapolis stop of the Arena Grand Prix in November. He will then compete as part of the European All Star team the following month in Glasgow, Scotland from Dec. 20-21, as reported by RMS Sport.

Since deciding to move to the United States to train with Bowman, Agnel has definitely been making his own choices regarding his professional career

Agnel is the third confirmed member of the European All Stars, with Michael Jamieson and Pal Joensen also publicly being linked to the squad. Official rosters will be named in November.
