Amsterdam Swim Cup: Jennie Johansson, Konrad Czerniak, Hannah Miley Post Swift Times

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, March 17. THE Amsterdam Swim Cup kept rolling in The Netherlands as the international field produced some top 15 ranked times throughout the second night of swimming.

Jennie Johansson, who already stands third in the world with a 1:07.10 from British Trials earlier this month, won the women's 100 breast in 1:07.88. Moniek Nijhuis placed second in 1:09.33, while Joline Hostman checked in with a third-place 1:09.74.

Konrad Czerniak, who owns second in the rankings with a season-best 52.07 from British Trials, paced the men's 100 fly with a 52.50. Joeri Verlinden finished second in 53.15, while Stefanos Dimitriadis wound up third in 53.69.

Hannah Miley, the top-ranked swimmer in the world with a 2:10.77 from British Trials, cruised to victory in 2:12.54. Wendy van den Zanden took second in 2:16.94, while Esmee Bos placed third in 2:18.87.

Sebastiaan Verschuren topped the men's 400 free to start the second day of action. He clocked a 3:50.16 to move to 14th in the world rankings. Ferry Weertman touched second in 3:55.65, while Dion Dreesens snared third in 3:58.28.

Ingvild Snildal raced to victory in the women's 100 fly with a 58.32. That swim hopped her to ninth in the world rankings. Inge Dekker checked in with a second-place time of 58.41 to move up to 12th in the rankings, while Otylia Jedrzejczak earned third in 59.63. Simon Sjodin topped the men's 200 IM in 2:00.65. He's been faster with a 13th-ranked 2:00.11 from British Trials. Andreas Vazaios touched second in 2:02.91, while Sebas van Lith finished third in 2:06.75.

Panagiotis Samilidis clinched the men's 100 breast crown with a 1:01.10, jumping to 14th in the rankings. Lennart Stekelenburg touched second in 1:01.36 for 20th in the rankings. Ioannis Karpouzlis wound up third in 1:02.29. Bastiaan Lijesen snagged the men's 100 back title in 54.36, tying Ben Stasiulis for 14th in the world rankings. Nick Driebergen placed second in 54.89, while Lavrans Solli earned third in 56.08.

Rieneke Terink captured the women's 400 free title in 4:14.74, while Theodora Giareni placed second in 4:16.48. Judith Stap earned third in 4:19.87. Sharon van Rouwendaal clocked a 1:01.62 to win the women's 100 back, while Annemarie Worst placed second in 1:02.24. Kira Toussaint finished third in 1:02.29.
