ORLANDO, Florida, March 22. NOT every swimmer is posting lifetime bests in every event, and learning from the mistakes made is the hallmark of great swimmers. Harrison Haines of Bernal’s Gator is doing that at the NCSA junior nationals, and he talks about moving on from bad swims in this video interview.

Though Haines has improved on his personal bests in a couple of events, he hasn’t performed up to expectations in others. He talks about what goes on in his mind during the warm down and how he will get mentally ready for the 1650 freestyle this afternoon.
