LONDON, England, July 28. RYAN Lochte has long made it known that he will continue to compete after the London Olympics, but yesterday he told the Daytona Beach News-Journal that he'll change training sites in order to switch up his training regiment.

Lochte said he plans to move to Los Angeles after the Games, though the report does not list a moving date or which team he will train with in southern California.

“I just need a different training program with a lot less yardage. I'm getting older in the sport of swimming,” Lochte said. “I'll still be working with Gregg Troy (in Gainesville), but it will be different. He understands that.”

Lochte, who will be 32 years old when the Rio de Janeiro Olympics takes place, said he'll keep his Gainesville home and return to work with Troy for a couple of weeks at a time.

The article also states that the potential move to Los Angeles is not official, though Lochte did state that the desire to move to southern California is strong.

“After this summer, I'm going to get a place out in L.A.,” Ryan said. “And I have a place (in Gainesville). But when I want to settle down and have a family when swimming's over, I don't know where I'll be.”
