Gary Hall Jr. to be Inducted into U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 1. YESTERDAY, news leaked that Gary Hall Jr. will be one of the inductees into this year's U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame class, as reported by the Arizona Republic.

“More than anything, I'd just to thank everybody,” Hall Jr. told the Arizona Republic. “There was such an outpouring of support and so many people did take time to log on to website and vote. That's being recognized by Olympic movement. It's a tremendous honor; I'm very humbled. I've been joking about having new business cards printed up, but I'm really moved with appreciation for those have been supportive of me through my career and this voting process.”

The induction will take place July 12 at the Harris Theater in Chicago, Ill., with the official announcement of the Hall of Fame class to be announced May 12-15.
