Date Change Announced for 2012 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, September 16. U.S. Paralympics, a division of the U.S. Olympic Committee, has announced a date change for the 2012 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials – Swimming in Bismarck, North Dakota.

The competition, which is the sole selection event for U.S. swimming athletes to qualify for the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, England, have been changed from March 29-31 to June 14-16, 2012 at the Bismarck State College Aquatic and Wellness Center. The schedule adjustment was made due to a change in the entry dates for the 2012 Paralympic Games.

The team nomination will occur following the Trials on June 17 based on performances at the competition.

The Bismarck State College Aquatic and Wellness Center features an eight-lane, 50-meter pool and is fully accessible. The facility also provides ample seating for spectators.
