Kelton Graham Replaces Bailey Weathers as Club Wolverine Head Coach

ANN ARBOR, Michigan, August 28. AFTER four successful years at the helm of Club Wolverine, coach Bailey Weathers will be moving on to become the Athletic Director at Grace College in Indiana. The CW Board would like to thank Bailey for his leadership and service to the club.

Under his guidance, CW produced numerous Olympic Trials, Senior Nationals, Junior Nationals, Sectionals, National Select Camp, Zone Select Camp, Zone Meet, State Meet, Junior Olympic and District qualifiers. In addition, Coach Bailey spearheaded the effort to bring the USA Swimming Grand Prix back to Ann Arbor this year and successfully ran an outstanding meet this past spring.

Other highlights of Coach Bailey's tenure at CW include multiple short course and long course team State Championships. Perhaps more important, many swimmers have reflected on their lasting and positive memories of training with Coach Bailey at CW.

At this time CW is thrilled to announce that lead assistant coach Kelton Graham will assume the role of Head Coach. Coach Kelton brings to the position 13 years of age group coaching experience. Kelton is a former collegiate swimmer and coached the Ann Arbor Huron Men's Swim Team to the Division 1 High School State Championship in 2008 when he was named MHSAA Coach of the Year. He was also named MHSAA Zone 4 Coach of the Year in 2009 and has served as an assistant coach at the USA Swimming National Diversity Camp and as the Head Coach of the Central Zone Diversity Camp.

In addition, Kelton has been an instructor at the Wolverine Swim Camps at the University of Michigan and has been with Club Wolverine for 5 years. Prior to coaching at CW Kelton was the head coach of the Ypsilanti, MI based Otters Swim Team. Kelton's prowess at teaching stroke technique is remarkable, his long-term view of swimmer development is highly respected in the swimming community, and his poolside enthusiasm is contagious.
