PHOENIX, Arizona, April 4. ON today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show is Cal Poly sophomore Sonny Fierro, who attended his first NCAA championships last week and scored the school’s first points at the big meet.

Fierro talks about the overwhelming experience of being at the NCAA meet and what it was like to place 15th in the 1650 freestyle and dip under the 15-minute barrier for the first time. Doing so took a lot of training and many long workouts in San Luis Obispo, and Fierro is excted to get back I and prepare for the long course season, and get his teammates excited for the chance to bring more swimmers with him to NCAAs next year.
