Morning Swim Show: Julio Zarate Finds A “Balancing Act” Between Coaching and Painting

PHOENIX, Arizona, January 6. WE return to new interviews on today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show, featuring Chesapeake Bay Aquatic Club head coach Julio Zarate.

Zarate grew up in Maryland and went to college in the state. Now, he’s an assistant coach at his alma mater and at a rising age group club in southern Maryland. Though life creates natural stresses, Zarate works through them with his painting hobby in a studio located in an unused room at the pool where he works. He talks about how he got into fine art, ad why he decided to start painting swimmers as subjects. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
