Morning Swim Show: Announcer Michael Poropat Talks About Amazing USA Swimming Winter Nationals

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 16. ON today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show, USA Swimming public address announcer Michael Poropat took time out at the USA Swimming Winter Nationals to talk about the meet, as well as talk about some of the specific challenges he faces as an announcer.

Poropat has had the chance to call some truly special swims since starting in the profession back in 2001. Interestingly enough, Poropat talks about how his tough-to-pronounce last name led to him paying attention to announcers who could get it right.
