Morning Swim Show: Mallory Weggemann’s Journey to “Upward Mobility”

PHOENIX, Arizona, August 14. MALLORY Weggemann joins today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show as she begins her fundraising campaign to pay for the costs associated with a new set of leg braces and arm crutches to gain “upward mobility” five years after an accident confined her to a wheelchair.

Weggemann, a 2012 Paralympic champion, describes the reasons behind the fundraiser and what her five weeks in Michigan in rehab will entail. She also discusses her desire to return to international competition after severe illness kept her from making the USA roster for this week’s IPC world swimming championships.
