Poll of the Week: Underwater Dolphin Kicks in Breaststroke (Results)

PHOENIX, Arizona, April 26. IN a few months, the FINA Bureau might be voting on a proposal to allow up to 15 meters of underwater dolphin kicking at the start of any breaststroke race, which has drawn more criticism than praise. That trend continued in our recent Poll of the Week, in which an overwhelming majority voted against the proposed rule change. Nearly 89 percent said no to the proposed rule, while 11.36 percent were for it. The FINA Bureau is set to meet at the start of the world championships in Barcelona in mid-July.

Ryan Lochte's reality show “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?” debuted on the E! Network on Monday, and since then the Olympic champion has been the topic of conversation, not only in the general swimming community but in the general public. The premiere episode focused more on Lochte's search for true love than his training regimen, which was definitely the case for Lochte for many months after he returned from London. We want to know what you thought of the premiere episode, and you have five voting options. Did you love the show, did you think it was OK or did you hate it? Also, if you did not watch it, you can tell us if you plan to see a future episode or if you plan to skip it altogether. Go to our home page at swimmingworld.com and vote in the poll on the right side of the page. We'll be back next week with results.
