Stanford Commit Ally Howe Breaks Missy Franklin’s Independent High School Record in 100 Back

SANTA CLARA, California, May 16. DURING the CIF Central Coast Section Championships prelims session today, Sacred Heart Prep’s Ally Howe took down Missy Franklin’s national independent high school record in the 100-yard back.

Howe clocked a 51.84 in prelims, beating Franklin’s time of 52.30 set in 2011 for Regis Jesuit High School in Colorado. How also made finals in the 200-yard IM with a 2:00.88 this afternoon.
