DENVER, Colorado, October 8. N.C. State just can't be stopped in this Class of 2014 recruiting cycle. The Wolfpack just clinched another top 40 recruit with Denver Swim Academy's Hennessey Stuart making the call today for N.C. State.

Stuart, who is the 37th-ranked recruit in the Class of 2014 by CollegeSwimming.com, also competes for Missy Franklin's alma mater Regis Jesuit.

Stuart will provide the Wolfpack with some serious backstroke help in a year. His top times are a 1:43.64 in the 200-yard back from the 2012 Speedo Winter Nationals, as well as a 47.80 in the 100-yard back and 22.45 in the 50-yard back at the 2013 Colorado State High School Championships.

Stuart also is a beast in long course backstroke. He owns top times of a 2:02.22 in the 200-meter back, a 56.64 in the 100-meter back and a 27.38 in the 50-meter back. His 100 and 200 came by way of the 2013 Speedo Junior Nationals this past summer, while his top 50 back occurred a year-and-a-half ago at Speedo Sectionals.

Stuart, the top-ranked recruit in the state of Colorado, also has some versatility. He owns a 1:48.58 in the 200-yard IM as well as a 45.90 in the all-important 100-yard free to bode well at the sprint-focused NCAA level. He also has a 50.26 in the 100-yard fly for good measure.

"I believe that the coaching staff can help me make my swimming goals, made a great connection with the coaches and the guys on the team," Stuart posted about his decision. "I am excited to be a part of the Red Revolution! GO WOLFPACK!!"

The Wolfpack is rolling on the men's side of the Class of 2014. They have commitments from No. 15 Soren Dahl, No. 17 Anton Ipsen, No. 24 Colin Ellington and now No. 37 Hennessey Stuart thus far in what is looking to be an impressive class.
