PHOENIX, Arizona, October 22. EACH week, Swimming World is proud to bring you a roundup of the honors given to swimmers and divers by the various NCAA Division I conferences, based on performances from the past week in the pool.

Female Swimmer of the Week: Elizabeth Beisel, Florida
Showing off her distance freestyle prowess last week, Beisel briefly had the fastest time in the nation in the 1000 free with a 9:43.79 in her dual meet against Missouri, then followed that up with 4:45.91 in the 500 free in the meet against California, not far off her nation-leading 4:45.04.
