IUP, SwimUtopia’s Josh Huger Named to William & Mary Staff

WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia, August 24. JOSH Huger, co-founder of SwimUtopia and current assistant coach at IUP in Pennsylvania, has accepted a position as an assistant coach at William & Mary under head coach Matt Crispino.

Last season, Huger served as the recruiting coordinator while also serving as head coach of the IUP Swim Club since August 2010 for the Crimson Hawks. He first joined IUP as a volunteer assistant in 2010 before earning a full time role during the 2012-13 season.

Huger, a friend of Swimming World, has also grown one of the top regional swimming media web sites in the country with SwimUtopia along with partner Luke Shaheen of U.S. Masters Swimming. SwimUtopia has been providing streams for several years for clubs and colleges throughout the Northeast region and extending into the Midwest.

Huger earned his bachelor’s degree in sport administration (2011) and master’s in sports studies (2012) at IUP.

Huger joins a William & Mary program on the rise as Crispino continues to push the Tribe to new heights. During its conference championships, the Tribe demolished the school record books with 30 school records as well as four conference marks.
