Taner, Kolbisen To Wed

U.S. National Team members, Ugur Taner and Liesl Kolbisen, announced their engagement. Both were gold medalists at the USA Swimming Spring National Championships–Liesl in the 100m freestyle, Ugur in the 200m freestyle.

Liesl, a graduate of the University of Arizona, and Ugur, a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, both swim for the Hillenbrand of Tucson (HOT) Team.

The couple plan to wed on October 7, 2000–just after the Sydney Olympics.
