NCAA Men’s Champs to be Televised Friday Afternoon on ESPN2

BRISTOL, Conn., March 30. WANT to see what an 18.74 swim in the 50-yard freestyle looks like? Then be sure to tune in to ESPN2 on Friday for coverage of last week’s NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships. The meet will be aired from 1:30-3 p.m. (EST) and from 12:30-2 p.m. (CST).

One of the highlights of competition was Auburn’s Fred Bousquet becoming the first man in history to dip under the 19-second mark in the 50 free. Bousquet accomplished the feat twice, blistering 18.74 in the prelims and 18.90 in the championship final.

Auburn wrapped up a third consecutive championship and other swims worth seeing will be Ryan Lochte’s American-record swim in the 200 individual medley and Duje Draganja cranking out an NCAA record 41.49 in the 100 freestyle.
