Junior Pan-Pacific Championships in Maui Match Aussies, Americans, Canada, Japan and More

KIHEI, Maui, HI, January 10. A look at the future has been granted this week on this beautiful Hawaiian island. And the future is fast.

With the results of the final night yet to be reported Australia led a close overall scoring battle with the USA and Japan, 838-806.5-726.5, with Canada fourth at 599.

The meet opened with a 5,000 meter open water race with USA’s Chip Peterson leading the way in a four person field at 1:15:42.53. The US did not notch another gold through the first day as the Aussie’s built a substantial lead.
