ATHENS, OH, October 6. SENIOR Irena Stavreska and freshman Ilse Peterson will compete against the best the sport has to offer this weekend when they participate in the FINA World Swimming Championships at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind., announced the university recently.
Stavreska will represent Macedonia in the 50 breaststroke and 50 freestyle. She qualified by winning both events at the Macedonian National Championships this past summer.
