Vollmer, Spann and McGregory Dominate Texas Senior Circuit Meet

COLLEGE STATION, Tex., July 6. THE Texas Senior Circuit Meet 3 was held last weekend (June 27-29) at Texas A&M University. The Texas Senior Circuit Meet 1 was hosted in two locations by The Woodlands and Grapevine/Colleyville swim clubs. The second meet was held at SMU. The fourth and final meet will be held at the University of Texas this month.

Top individual performances in College Station were turned in by Dana Vollmer (15), who scored 97 points winning high point and took home top honors in the 50 meter Freestyle (26.15), 100 Free (56.50), 200 Free (2:01.29), and second in the 100 Back (1:04.34).

Alexia Spann (16) dominated both breaststroke events winning the 200 by almost eight seconds (2:31.90), and the 100 by three seconds (1:11.45).

Haley McGregory took both backstrokes winning in a quick 1:03.45 in the 100 and equally impressive in the 200 (2:16.77).
