U.S. Swimmers Selected For Goodwill Games

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Six 1998 world champions, including Amy Van Dyken, Bill Pilzcuk, Jenny Thompson, Lenny Krayzelburg, Lea Maurer and Kurt Grote, headline the Team USA swimming roster for this summer’s Goodwill Games. The team also includes 11 Olympic gold medalists: Van Dyken, Thompson, Maurer, Grote, Davis, Kristine Quance, Ashley Tappin, Cristina Teuscher, Brad Bridgewater, Gary Hall, Jr., and Jeremy Linn. The swimming competition, held on July 28-Aug. 2, consists of six days of dual meets against selected countries and against an international all-star team at the Nassau County Goodwill Games Aquatic Center in East Meadow, New York.
