Bolles Sharks Dominate Florida Senior Champs

JACKSONVILLE, Florida, July 15. THE Bolles School Sharks earned the Florida Swimming Long Course Senior Champion's title at this past weekend's competition in Ft. Pierce.

Bolles dominated in team scoring, winning the meet by over 1000 points (2,098). Second place went to Swim Florida with 1,071 and third to Highlander Aquatics with 852 points.

Outstanding performances were turned in by the entire team. Overall, the Bolles Sharks broke 10 Florida Senior Championship Records over the course of the weekend. Some of these included Yi-Ting Siow's 2:29.21 in the 200 breaststroke, the 12th fastest time in the world this year. Kate Skaggs swam a 2:19.61 in the 200 backstroke for her first U.S. Senior National qualifying time, and Eddy Oliver swam a 15:59.50 in the 1500 freestyle.
