Speedo Grand Challenge In Irvine Memorial Weekend

IRVINE, CA – The Novaquatics are hosting the Speedo Grand Challenge this weekend at Heritage Park in Irvine. The meet will feature several of the nations top swimmers including recent world record setters Aaron Piersol and Lindsay Benko, as well as Anthony Irvin, Natalie Coughlin, Haley Piersol, Diana MacManus, Adrienne Binder and many others top Americans as well as several international athletes.

The meet is held is a slightly different format as 8 swimmers advance to the B Consol, 8 swimmers advance to the A Consol, and only 4 swimmers advance to the Championship Final and money is paid 3 deep in each event. The 50's of each stroke will have a semi-finals where 16 advance, then the top 4 move to the finals. Here is the schedule of events:

The finals start at 5pm each day.
