NCAA Division I Men’s Championships: Purdue’s David Boudia Defends One-Meter Title

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, March 24. PURDUE's David Boudia turned in a masterful performance in the one-meter diving competition to defend his title at the NCAA Division I Men's Championships.

Boudia collected 461.00 points, just off his tally of 468.65 from last year, to defend his title. He is the first man to defend the one-meter title since Troy Dumais won three straight from 2000-02 for Texas.

Texas A&M's Grant Nel finished second with 425.85 points, while Texas' Drew Livington took third with 413.20 points, falling short of reclaiming his 2009 title. Duke's Nick McCrory also cleared 400 points with a fourth-place 411.50. Texas A&M's Cam McLean (388.10), Arizona State's Constantin Blaha (387.45), Tennessee's Michael Wright (383.80) and Arizona State's Riley McCormick (376.95) also dove in the finale.

Texas moved into the top spot with 105 points, while Stanford fell to second with 104 points. California (94), Auburn (92.5) and Arizona (73) comprised the rest of the top five.
