Two Masters World Records Set at Swedish Short Course Championships

SODERTALJE, Sweden, March 24. OLYMPIC champion Lars Frolander and Marika Johansson set Masters short course world records last weekend at the country's national championships.

Frolander, who won the 100 fly in the 2000 Olympics, swam a 23.70 in the 50 butterfly to erase Eiji Nomura's mark of 24.03 in the 35-39 age group.

Johansson swam a 26.96 as the leadoff swimmer on the SK Nautilus mixed 200 freestyle relay. Her time beat Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen's record of 27.09 in the 50 freestyle for the 45-49 age group.
