Connecticut vs. Bucknell

LEWISBURG, Pennsylvania, January 28. THE University of Connecticut men's and women's swimming and diving teams both posted wins over Bucknell on Friday night.

The women won by a 191 to 109 score while the men won 177.5 to 116.5.

The UConn divers had a strong night as Danielle Cecco won both the one meter and three meter events on the women's side while Adam Genuario did the same on the men's side.

Double winners on the men's side included Kyungsoo Yoon in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle races, Karim Zayed in the 50 and 200-yard freestyle and Jeremy Ramshaw in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke.

On the women's side, double winners included Jordan Bowen in the 500 and 1000-yard freestyle, Kim Fleming in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke, Kaitlin Gallagher in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke and Erin DeVinney in the 100 and 200-yard butterfly.
