Two Funeral Services for Aussie Great, Terry Gathercole

SYDNEY, June 3. TWO funeral services will be held in honor of Australian swimmer, coach and president of the Australian swimming federation, Terry Gathercole (25 November 1935-30 May 2001).

Friends are invited to join Terry's wife, Carol; his sons, Ben and Tim; his daughter, Gabrielle; and his daughter-in-law Caroline in celebration of his remarkable life at St Barnabas Anglican Church, Court St. West Wyalong, NSW, Australia, commencing at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2001, followed by interment in the Wyalong Memorial Cemetery.

For those unable to join the family at Terry's funeral Service, a Memorial Service will be held at the Australian Institute of Sport, Bruce, ACT, at 12 noon, Thursdsay, June 7, 2001.

Flowers will be gratfully accepted or donations may be left at the Church or the AIS for Heart Research.
