George Mason, James Madison vs. Delaware

NEWARK, Delaware, October 16. THE University of Delaware men's and women's swimming and diving teams enjoyed another successful Saturday in Rawstrom Natatorium as each team swept through James Madison and George Mason to open Colonial Athletic Association Action.

The Delaware (2-0) men had the closest margin of victory on the day as they defeated George Mason 166-126, winning 10 events, most of them in the early portion of the meet, before coasting to the team win. The men's 200 medley relay team broke the pool record, winning in 1:33.90 to kick off the men events.

The Blue Hen women (3-0) won eight events on their way to running through George Mason and James Madison. The Blue Hens defeated George Mason 213-86, and James Madison (175-125).
