Olympians David Boudia, Haley Ishimatsu Top Field in 10-Meter Semis at AT&T National Diving Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, August 14. 2008 Olympians David Boudia (Noblesville, Ind.) and Haley Ishimatsu (Seal Beach, Calif.) finished atop the men's and women's 10-meter semifinal standings Friday to lead the field of divers advancing to the weekend finals at AT&T National Diving Championships.

Boudia scored 10s on three of his six dives in the semifinals to finish with 530.25 points. Longhorn Aquatics' Matthew Cooper (Bethesda, Md.) scored 443.80 points for second, and Harrison Jones (Spring, Texas) was third at 433.85. Defending champion and Longhorn diver Drew Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas) qualified fourth.

Ishimatsu scored 351.75 to finish first in the women's 10-meter semifinals. Anna James (Midland, Texas), competing in her first senior national championships, finished with 309.50 points to place second in the semifinals. Vennie Dantin (The Woodlands, Texas) was third at 296.85.

The AT&T National Diving Championships continue through Sunday, August 15. Saturday's competition features finals in women's 3-meter, men's 10-meter, women's synchronized 3-meter and men's synchronized 10-meter.
