PHOENIX, Arizona, August 10. WITH so many fantastic swims at the 2010 USA Swimming nationals last week, it was a little difficult picking out one performance that stood out and made the swimming community take notice of what was happening in Irvine.

But one swimmer made the biggest headlines at the meet not for one swim, but two races that would have been very good on their own, but became extraordinary when put together.
