Industry News: Aquanite Launches New Management System Specifically Dedicated to Water Polo and Swimming Programs; Is Your Program Relying On Out Of Date Technology?

MODESTO, California, July 6. AQUANITE LLC has released the new CoachPress 2.0.4 platform, specifically designed to cater to the needs of Water Polo and Swim Team coaches. Easily manage your aquatic website, offer electronic registration, billing, event sign ups, calendar/schedules, and fully integrate your website with Flickr, Facebook and YouTube using this exciting new technology. Aquanite guarantees to make the communication between your members and community more efficient and easier.

As the Internet continues to dominate traditional media, Water Polo and Swimming coaches are taking a second look at how they manage their programs. In the past few years, services such as YouTube and Facebook have completely redefined the way people are using the web. Many websites, even those built only a few short years ago, have become woefully outdated when compared to the modern web 2.0 phenomenon.

Chris Goodwin, founder and President of Aquanite, LLC had this to say: "There are a lot of great technologies out there. The problem is, they are worthless unless a person understands how to use them. I designed the Aquanite service with coaches in mind- not tech-savvy developers".

According to Chris Goodwin, Aquanite combines a powerful feature set with an intuitive easy to use user interface, making the service accessible to anyone with a Water Polo or Swimming team. "If you can handle a web browser", said Goodwin, "you can handle Aquanite."

Josh Schreibman, Lead Developer of CoachPress 2.0.4, had this to say: "Not only is the web changing, but the way people are connecting to the web is changing too. These days, more and more people access the web through their smart phone, like an iPhone or BlackBerry. One of the major goals of this release was to make the system more mobile-friendly, and I feel pretty confident we have done that."

Demonstrating the new technology, Josh Schreibman recorded a short video using an iPhone application to upload directly to YouTube. Within a few moments, the Aquanite website was automatically updated, and the new video available for all members, family, and fans to instantly see giving insight to the current progress the program was having.

"We simply could not do this a few years ago," said Schreibman. "Just imagine what we'll be able to do a few years from now…"
