Banja Luka Open: Nadja Higl, Triin Aljand, Caba Siladji Post World-Ranked Times; Jovana Bogdanovic Triples

BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA, May 31. THE two-day Banja Luka Open produced three times that jumped into the long course meter top 25 world rankings. Meanwhile, Jovana Bogdanovic tripled at the meet held in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Nadja Higl vaulted to 16th in the world rankings in the women's 200 breast. Her time of 2:27.34 cleared Alena Alekseeva's now 17th-ranked time of 2:27.77 clocked in April.

Triin Aljand jumped to 17th in the world with a winning time of 26.78 in the women's 50 fly.

Milorad Cavic moved up to a 22nd-place tie in the world rankings with a 24.11 in the men's 50 fly. He tied Florent Manadou's time from April.

Caba Siladji turned in a 28.15 to win the men's 50 breast. That time tied him for 23rd in the world with Andrea Toniato's time from earlier this month. Siladji returned in the men's 100 breast with a triumphant time of 1:02.90.

Jovana Bogdanovic won the women's 50 breast in 33.49. She doubled with a 1:12.45 in the women's 100 breast. Bogdanovic claimed her third victory with a 5:08.92 in the women's 400 IM.

Alexei Puninski claimed the men's 100 free in 50.07. He then doubled up with a 23.07 in the men's 50 free.

Roko Simunic topped the men's 100 back in 58.25 before topping the men's 50 back in 26.29.

Anja Carman won the women's 100 back in 1:03.65. Carman doubled up with a 2:15.29 to win the women's 200 back.

Miroslava Najdanovski touched first in the women's 100 free in 56.39, while Panteleimon Pantis posted a first-place time of 2:26.22 in the men's 200 breast.

Petar Mrcela captured the men's 200 fly title in 2:08.59, while Katja Hajdinjak won the women's 200 fly in 2:21.45.

Romanos Alyfantis turned in a 2:04.49 to win the men's 200 IM, while Marija Joksimovic pocketed the women's 200 IM title in 2:25.19.

Marta Matsa won the women's 50 free in 26.07, while Matea Samardzic claimed the women's 50 back in 30.33.

Evgeny Korotyshkin topped the men's 100 fly in 53.36, while Diane Bui Duyet grabbed the women's 100 fly in 1:00.24.

Radovan Siljevski earned the men's 200 free title in 1:52.98, while Tijana Vukanovic placed first in the women's 200 free with a 2:06.21.

Dimitrios Chasiotis garnered the men's 200 back title in 2:03.79, while Sasa Impric won the men's 400 IM in 4:41.38.
